KL's best neighbourhoods for a 3–6 month stay
Where to live if you're here for a season — by lifestyle, not by Google Maps pin.

The mid-term mindset
Three to six months is long enough to need a rhythm — a coffee shop, a gym, a corner shop — but short enough that you don't want to commit to a Klang-edge condo just for the price.
KLCC — for the always-on professional
Walking distance to Petronas Twin Towers and most multinational HQs. Restaurants stay open late. Best if your office is in the Golden Triangle.
Mont Kiara — for families and quiet workers
International schools, Plaza Mont Kiara, low-density. The trade-off: you'll need Grab everywhere.
Bangsar — for the social mid-termer
Bangsar Village, indie cafés, Telawi street life. A creative-class expat favourite.
Bukit Ceylon / Changkat — for nightlife and walkability
Tucked between KLCC and Bukit Bintang. Walk to everything. Light sleepers should pick a unit facing the inside courtyard.
TRX — for the next-gen KL
The Exchange TRX mall just opened. New buildings, premium finishes, MRT2 right downstairs.
Our rule of thumb
Pick the neighbourhood by commute and weekend habits — not by Instagram. We're happy to walk you through it on WhatsApp.
