What's actually different

A serviced apartment is your own private unit — kitchen, bathroom, the works. A co-living room is a private bedroom in a shared apartment with shared kitchen and lounge spaces, often with built-in events and community.

Pick co-living if…

• You're solo and new in town
• You want a built-in social circle
• You value bills-included pricing under RM 2,500/month
• You're comfortable sharing a kitchen

Pick a serviced apartment if…

• You're a couple, family, or remote worker who needs quiet
• You take video calls all day
• You cook regularly
• You want hotel-grade housekeeping and full privacy

Price reality check (KL, 2026)

• Co-living private room: RM 1,800 – RM 3,200 / month
• Serviced studio: RM 3,500 – RM 5,500 / month
• Serviced 1BR: RM 4,500 – RM 7,500 / month

Try before you commit

Both formats let you test on a nightly basis. A two-night stay tells you everything — light, noise, neighbours, the morning commute.
