# The mid-term furnishing checklist
Short-term guests forgive missing items. Mid-term guests don't — they're cooking, working, and sleeping in your unit for 90+ nights. Get the inventory right and your reviews stay above 4.8.
Bedroom (per room) Queen bed + 2 pillows per person, blackout curtains, full-length mirror, bedside lamps with USB ports, hangers (20+ per closet).
Kitchen essentials Induction or gas hob, microwave, kettle, rice cooker, blender, chef's knife + paring knife, 2 frying pans, 2 pots, baking tray, 6 of every plate/bowl/glass/utensil, sharp scissors, can opener, wine opener.
Workspace (non-negotiable) Desk minimum 100cm wide, ergonomic chair (not a dining chair), monitor or monitor arm, desk lamp, power strip with USB-C.
Laundry & cleaning Washer-dryer combo, drying rack, iron + board, vacuum, mop + bucket, starter pack of detergent and dish soap.
The small stuff guests notice Umbrella stand with 2 umbrellas, shoehorn, sewing kit, first aid kit, surge protector, HDMI cable, Apple TV or Chromecast, fast Wi-Fi router (200 Mbps minimum).
